What's New at Colon Elementary School . . .

You may have noticed that we have a new motto for this year, “Magical Things Happen in Colon.”  This year we will be starting a new behavior program that is a part of the MiBLSi grant (see below) we received from the state.  The program is School Wide positive Behavior Model and will focus on the teaching of positive behavior.  The staff was come up with four key expectations that everyone, staff and students alike will strive to meet daily.  These expectations will be our “magic sparks”!  The four expectations are: Responsibility, Respect, Safe, and Positive.  (Click below to see our behavior matrix)
